Valentine's Gift for friends.

I saw these adorable mini pink mailboxes in Target's Dollar Section and had to grab 'em today. I decided to fill them with some treats and my favorite quote about love and give them to some friends.

I rolled up this quote and tied it with twine. Put all the goodness in the mailbox and dropped them off at my friends' homes.

Friendship themed Relief Society Dinner.

I spent a lot of time planning for our big Relief Society dinner/Visiting Teaching Conference. After tossing around a lot of ideas, I finally settled on the theme of friendship. I saw this Mary Engelbreit illustration and quote that I loved, and it became the basis for the whole night. I had so much help from Jaime, my sis. She designed these awesome invitations and helped me so much as I planned the décor . Another sweet friend, Katie, helped me with the food.. we decided to have it catered by Kneaders. We had to go eat there to really look at everything and decide.. ;) We even tried some desserts just to be sure.. it was fun, fun!! How we do chores.

I was searching the internet a few months ago for some ideas on creating a chore schedule for myself and my kids that would help us to keep our home clean. I tend to get into the habit of letting things get really dirty and then doing a major scrub down for a few days that leaves me exhausted and cranky. I thought there had to be a better, more manageable way. And then I found an idea to make a 7 day chore schedule that went along with the days of the Creation in the Holy Bible. I thought this was a great idea and so creative, which I always appreciate. So, I sat down with my hubby and kids and we brainstormed ideas of how this could be done. We broke down each day and what we could do. And then I found pictures online that went along with our chores and typed up these pages. After laminating them, they were ready to go! Father's Day Gift Ideas.

Father's Day is coming up! We love our Jason, and we like to surprise him with special gifts. I wanted to share a few things my kids and I have loved doing for Jason. These Pinhole Press board books are so adorable and easy to do. The kids love looking at them, and Jase cried when he first saw them. They made his day! Making a slideshow for your special guy is also a great idea! We made one for Jason a few years ago, and it was so special and fun. There are many different sites you can use to do that. One that I've used recently is Smile box . It does cost money to use, so be aware of that. You can also use free sites or simply make one using google slides or iMovie.
