At our church, the 8-11 year old girls have meet biweekly for activities. Then, in the summer, they have a day camp. I didn't plan or carry out any of this, so I can't take any credit. But I went to help out, as my daughter was in the group of girls who participated. It was so cute, I had to take some pictures and share. The theme for the camp was "We can do it!", and they used Rosie the Riveter for inspiration. They put up this cute sign in the gym for the girls to take pictures with. The girls each got a bag with a cute red and white polka dot headband and red lipstick, which they were so excited about. Then they were put into small groups and went to a number of different classes in different rooms.
